Artificially regulating the flowering period of Cineraria

The flowering period of Cineraria is from November to May of the following year, and the peak flowering period is from March to April. If you want cineraria to bloom all year round, you can artificially adjust the flowering period by sowing in stages. If you want the cineraria to bloom on New Year's Day, you can sow the seeds in late August; if you want to enjoy the flowers during the Spring Festival, you can sow them in late September; if you want to enjoy the flowers during the May Day holiday, you can sow them in late December; if you want to enjoy the flowers during the Mid-Autumn Festival, you can sow them around May. It takes about 180 days for cineraria to bloom from sowing. You can calculate the sowing date according to your needs and take good care of it, so that you can enjoy the flowers as you wish.

Make Cineraria bloom earlier or later

Heating or cooling measures can be used to achieve the purpose of advancing or delaying the flowering of Cineraria. If you want the cineraria to bloom early, you can move it to an environment of 20 to 25 degrees after the buds appear; if you want it to bloom later, you can move it to an environment of 4 to 10 degrees for cultivation when the cineraria is in bud or just beginning to bloom. It should be noted that cineraria likes warmth but should avoid dry air and scorching sun in summer. At the same time, pay attention to drainage and ventilation to keep the soil fertile.
