How to grow mint

How to grow mint

1. Breeding conditions

1. Soil: It does not have high requirements on soil conditions. As long as the soil has good drainage and high air permeability, it can be used to plant it.

2. Light: It is not resistant to strong light and cannot be exposed to direct sunlight. It should be placed in a semi-shaded place to receive scattered light. The daily exposure time should not be less than five hours.

3. Watering: Observe the condition of the soil before watering it. Watering is only needed when the soil is completely dry. The amount of water does not need to be too much, as long as the soil is completely moist.

4. Fertilization: Use light fertilizer when fertilizing it. Concentrated fertilizer can easily burn the roots. Fertilizers should mainly be nitrogen-containing. The frequency of fertilization is once a month.

2. Breeding Methods

When planting, prepare loose, nutrient-rich soil, cut healthy, pest-free branches, and then insert them into water. If you grow it in a semi-shaded place, it will grow roots in a week. After growing roots, you can continue to grow it hydroponically or plant it in the soil.

3. Pest and disease control

It has juicy leaves and tender leaves, and is easily attacked by insects. Once you find that it is infected with pests, you can spray it with sterilization spirit mixed with water. It is best to avoid spraying anthers when the sun is strong, and you can choose to spray in the morning or afternoon.
