Seed propagation

Sophora japonica can be propagated by direct sowing. Choose mature and plump seeds and soak them in warm water at 70 to 80℃ for about 24 hours. Then take it out and place it in fine sand, wait for it to germinate, and then sow it.

Seeding and seedling raising are carried out in spring and autumn, and transplanting is carried out until late autumn. When the soil is frozen, the seedlings are transplanted in a trench 60 to 70 cm deep to overwinter. Plant and water in the spring of the following year.
