Introduction to Fungus GrowthBlack fungus is a saprophytic fungus that is widely distributed in China, mainly in Jilin, Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Hubei, Shaanxi and Zhejiang. Among them, Heilongjiang and Jilin are the largest black fungus bases in China. Fungus Growth CycleWood ear parasitizes on damp, shady, and decayed tree trunks. It grows on the branches of more than 120 kinds of broad-leaved trees such as oak, poplar, banyan, and locust. If cultivated artificially, it grows faster in a humid environment with basswood and bag materials as the substrate. The growth period of wood ear is about 5-6 months. The cultivation bags are produced in January-March in the north, and the ears can be harvested in June-July. Fungus growth rateThe mycelium of wood ear can grow between 6 degrees and 36 degrees, but the optimal temperature is between 22 degrees and 32 degrees. It can grow in cultivation materials and logs with a moisture content of 60%. It can grow normally in the dark. There are many ways to plant it, mainly planting in plastic bags or logs. Fungus grows fast. Fungus Growth Cycle ManagementGenerally speaking, planting black fungus can produce about 900 kilograms of dried black fungus per acre. Temperature management: The growth temperature range of wood ear is 16 to 35 degrees Celsius, and the optimal growth temperature is between 24 and 28 degrees. It is not resistant to high temperatures and will stop growing when the temperature is 35 degrees. When the temperature is 32 degrees, ventilation and cooling are required. When the temperature is below 22 degrees, it must be kept warm in time. Fertilization management: When planting wood ear, you can apply sufficient base fertilizer, and apply quick-acting nitrogen fertilizer during the growth period to avoid old shoots, small leaves and poor quality. |
