DIY Self-Watering Flower Pots

Take a clean wine bottle and split it in half

Use sandpaper to smooth the cut to prevent puncture wounds.

Place a cotton strip under one end of the bottle mouth, put soil in it, and plant flowers.

Then pour water on one end of the bottom of the bottle and insert one end of the bottle mouth into the other end of the bottom of the bottle, as shown in the picture below, and our automatic watering pot is ready.

No more worrying about forgetting to water the flowers

Homemade Glass Flower House

Divide the glass bottle into two halves and put the upper part on the flower pot. A simple and warm glass greenhouse is made. You can put the flowers outdoors in the fall without worrying about frostbite.

DIY Self-Watering Container

Prepare a wine bottle with a wine bottle cap

Clean the bottle with detergent

Use a hole punch or other tool to make a small hole in the bottle cap.

The size of the hole is shown in the picture

Fill the bottle with water and cover it with a cap.

Turn the wine bottle upside down and bury it in the vase

Water will pass through the small holes on the bottle cap and continuously supply water to the plants. If you are away from home for a long time, you can try watering the plants in this way.

DIY Wine Bottle Fence

The wine bottles are buried high and low along the garden, and a distinctive glass fence is created.

Homemade Succulent Plant Pots

Cut a beer bottle horizontally and plant a mini succulent garden.

Making a hydroponic container

You don’t need to buy vases for hydroponics. Just wash the wine bottles and they will be beautiful containers.
