The water banana will bloom in summer and autumn. After entering the flowering period, pay attention to fertilization. Manure should be applied once every 7-10 days. You can also apply some fertilizers containing phosphorus and potassium to make the flowers bloom more vigorously.

If the banana plant needs to be planted in the open field, the bulbs must be dug in autumn. Dry the dug bulbs, then store them indoors and plant them in spring.

The water banana is not cold-resistant and requires the room temperature to be between 15-20℃ in winter, not too low. If conditions permit. The water banana can be placed in a greenhouse for maintenance.

After moving indoors in winter, you need to control watering. As long as the soil in the pot is kept slightly moist, it can survive the cold winter.
