How to turn a green radish into a pot

How to turn a green radish into a pot

1. Prepare materials

First, we need to prepare the necessary materials: a particularly healthy green ivy, in addition, we also need flower soil, flower pots, and scissors.

2. Pruning

After we have everything ready we will start cutting it. We need to cut it into several parts, cut off all its leaves, and leave only the stems. However, when operating, we must pay attention to ensure that there is a bud eye in each section, only in this way can it grow out.

3. Flower soil

We also need to prepare the flower soil for it. Because it has relatively high requirements for flower soil, we need to mix it.

We recommend that you use leaf mold because this type of soil contains a large amount of nutrients for use and has good drainage effects, which can ensure that no water accumulates in the soil. If not, we can use sandy loam or special flower soil for this plant.

In short, we must ensure that the flower soil we choose has good drainage, because only in this way can we ensure that it can grow well.

4. Cuttings

After preparing everything, you can officially start cuttings. Generally, we need to sprinkle some stones under the branches so that the roots will not be easily damaged and the drainage effect of the flower soil can be improved. When operating, do not insert the roots too deep, otherwise it will affect its growth.

5. Covering with soil

After cuttings, we need to cover the soil, then water it a little, and then place it in a well-ventilated place. Be careful not to expose it to too strong sunlight. If the flower soil can be kept moist, it will grow roots in about twenty days.

This is a particularly low-cost method, and because it is easier to survive, the effect is better. Therefore, people who don’t want to spend money can consider doing it themselves by cuttings. This way they will feel particularly good because a piece of green radish at home can quickly grow into a pot.
