How to grow large-leafed green radish

Pothos grandiflora

The big-leafed green radish is not a green radish with better growth, but a variety of green radish. If it is just an ordinary green radish, it is a bit difficult to mutate. So, fellow flower lovers, please take good care of your own green radish and don’t envy the big leaves of others.

How to grow big leaf green radish

temperature

The most primitive growth of large-leafed green radish is in the woods shaded by towering trees, where the temperature is above 20℃. In winter, it can safely survive the winter if the temperature is above 10℃. Like the green radish, it is suitable for cultivation in a home environment.

illumination

The big-leafed green radish is not very sun-loving, so daily light care is sufficient. However, in the autumn and winter seasons in the north, in order to enhance photosynthesis, it is necessary to increase the light appropriately. You can place the green radish on a closed balcony to bask in the sun at noon, or place it in a place with strong light indoors. In short, you must ensure sufficient light and suitable temperature.

Moisture

For the large-leafed green radish, do not water it too much. Spray some water on the rooting area to reduce water evaporation. When watering, be careful not to accumulate water, just keep the soil moist.

In autumn and winter, the amount of watering should be controlled according to the room temperature. When the temperature is low, water evaporates more slowly, so you need to reduce watering and reduce the amount of water by half. Even if the temperature rises, water the pot less frequently. It is better to allow the middle brown column to penetrate.

fertilizer

Ordinary inorganic fertilizers are difficult for the big-leafed green radish to absorb. Therefore, you need to use fertilizers special for green radish once every half a month. You can buy it directly from the flower shop. They have fertilizers available. Fertilizing green radish is also seasonal. Before winter, spray a small amount of liquid inorganic fertilizer, usually once every 15 days or so. After winter, the main application is foliar fertilizer, which is sprayed directly on the leaves. The leaves will receive the fertilizer through the stomata.

Precautions

Large-leafed green radish grows fast and only requires extensive management. During maintenance, spray water more often in summer, apply fertilizer once every 10 days, sprinkle it directly on the soil, and prune in time.

Large-leafed green radish is easily infected by diseases and pests, which affect its growth. Such as: mealybugs, red spiders, and scale insects. Pay attention to insecticide and disinfection. Use alcohol to kill insects and rinse with clean water.
