How to plant cactus in a pot

Can it be potted?

Potted cacti have become a trend in indoor flower cultivation. Most residents have limited housing and the air is relatively dry, so it is not suitable to cultivate some flowers that are difficult to survive. Therefore, the most appropriate choice is to choose some potted plants with high survival rate and strong adaptability to the environment. They are also easy to manage and pleasing to the eye. Our cactus just meets all of the above requirements.

Potted Planting Notes

✔The best time for cactus cuttings is from May to June. Of course, if there is a greenhouse, it can be carried out all year round.

✔The substrate for cactus must be well configured. It can resist drought, but it cannot accumulate water and must maintain a moist substrate.

✔Select better stem nodes from harmless and thriving mother plants for cuttings. One thing to note here is that you must use alcohol to disinfect the props after stealing the cuttings.

✔Do not take cuttings immediately, place them in a dry greenhouse environment first

✔For all varieties that are difficult to cultivate, the use of some hormones can greatly improve its survival rate. When propagating most varieties through cuttings, there is no need to use hormone treatment.

✔The indoor temperature should be appropriate and choose small species with many flowers.

✔The loam should be good, breathable, well-drained and sandy with lime. It is best to water the newly planted cactus half a month later. Water it sparingly and avoid fertilizing in winter.

✔For normal living conditions, we should make good use of indoor space and cultivate various beautiful cacti appropriately. Seeing them during the transition from spring to summer can relieve fatigue.

Potting method

✔The temperature should be suitable, avoid high temperature in summer, and in winter, in order to avoid cold damage, the room temperature should not be lower than 5℃

✔Try to place the cactus outdoors to absorb sunlight, which will help it grow healthily~

✔Processing of culture soil. It is best to use 2 parts of loam, 2 parts of leaf mold and 3 parts of river sand, plus 1 part of old gray wall chips to mix and prepare it.
