How long does cyclamen bloom and how to grow it during the flowering period

1. How long does cyclamen bloom?

If the cultivation method is proper, the flowering period of cyclamen is about five months. However, if the cultivation method is slightly worse, the flowering period of cyclamen will be shortened accordingly. If the maintenance environment is very poor, it may not even bloom. It usually blooms in winter and spring every year, usually from December of the previous year to February or March of the following year.

2. How to grow cyclamen during its flowering period

1. Provide light: When the cyclamen is in bloom, it should be provided with some soft sunlight. Don't place it in a place that is too dark or too bright, otherwise it will cause it to bloom prematurely.

2. Keep warm: When it is in flowering period, it is recommended to control the temperature around it between 15-20℃, not too high or too low. Because this temperature is the most suitable for it to bloom. If the temperature is too high or too low, it will stimulate it and shorten the flowering period.

3. Proper water control: It is more sensitive during the flowering period. At this time, the amount of watering should be reduced appropriately, otherwise it is likely to cause problems such as bud falling and flower withering. You should wait until the soil in the pot is dry before watering, so that the soil is always slightly moist.

4. Do not move it: During its flowering period, it is best not to change its environment too much, that is, try not to move its flowerpot and move it to another location. Otherwise it will cause it to be irritated and the flowers will fall and die prematurely.
