The language and legend of stone lotus

The language and legend of stone lotus

1. Flower language

The first one is "tenacity". This is a spirit of not changing one's original intention, working hard for it, not giving up or betraying it, and being steadfast.

The second is "wealth". Many people hope that they can become wealthy and noble in the future and become rich and noble. Words such as "great wealth and honor" often appear in New Year's greetings, implying good wishes.

The third one is "eternity". People all yearn for things that never change and exist forever, but there are so many eternal things in the world. Only family love, love, friendship and other relationships can be eternal if you treat them sincerely.

The fourth one is "Eternal Love". If love is compared to a plant, then love is the most beautiful flower in the world. Love that never changes and lasts forever is love that never fades.

According to the above flower language, it is suitable as a gift to our friends, relatives or lovers. When they have persisted for a long time without any reward and are about to give up, this plant can give them courage again; on the anniversary of your lover, giving one plant to him/her means "long lasting".

2. Legend

There are many different versions of its legend. Here we will only briefly introduce a more common one.

According to legend, there is an ancient temple of Guanyin to the north of the place where this flower appeared, and there is a mountain to the west. Its shape is like a folding screen with a stone plate on it. In the plate there is a huge stone nest, which is always full of water. At night, the stone nest often emits dazzling light, and over time it has been called Dengdengwo. There are two holes on the stone slab that look like women's feet, which are said to belong to the gods. Therefore, there is a saying that "Guanyin shows his holiness and the lotus blooms, and the jade girl comes to light the lamp with incense." The so-called "lotus" refers to the plant we are talking about today.
