The cultivation methods and precautions of August melon

The cultivation methods and precautions of August melon

1. Soil

There are certain requirements for soil quality. When choosing soil, you should choose loose, water-conserving and breathable soil. The best soil is a mixture of humus, sand, bone meal and ice chips.

2. Water

It likes to grow in moist soil, has a certain degree of drought resistance but is not tolerant to waterlogging, so the amount of water should be controlled when watering. Normally, watering is only needed once a week. In winter, due to the lower temperature, water demand is reduced, so watering is only needed once a month.

3. Nutrients

It is a plant that likes fertilizer, and sufficient fertilizer should be added during its growing season. It is best to choose cake fertilizer water as fertilizer. Fertilize once every seven days or so. The amount of fertilizer should not be too much, and it should not be applied too close to the roots.

4. Temperature

The plant grows best in a mild environment, with a temperature between 20 and 28 degrees Celsius. Because it has a certain degree of cold resistance, it can grow normally as long as the temperature in winter is not lower than 5℃.
