Cactus fruit cultivation methods and precautions

Cactus fruit cultivation methods and precautions

1. Soil

When cultivating cactus fruit, the first thing to consider is using sandy loam. You should choose soil that contains a lot of organic matter and rotten leaves, and the pH value should be neutral or slightly acidic. The soil should have good drainage properties. If planting on a slope, choose a sunny slope. After choosing a good planting site, deep plowing should be carried out first, which will be more conducive to its growth.

2. Water

Because it is very afraid of water, it should be watered according to the rainfall in the environment. Build drainage ditches in advance where cactus fruit is planted to prevent excess water from being drained away, which would hinder its growth. Water when the soil is too dry, but don't water if the soil is moist.

3. Fertilizer

If you want to increase yield and quality, you must be willing to apply fertilizer. Fertilization is mainly divided into the first fertilizer and the second follow-up fertilizer. Fertilization requires that the organic fertilizer be completely decomposed, with organic fertilizer as the main fertilizer and phosphate fertilizer as the supplement. Compound fertilizer can be applied.

4. Temperature

The most suitable growth temperature is 28-32℃. The temperature should not be too low, otherwise it will cause growth to stop or even die. When the temperature is high in the summer, it can be lowered through ventilation, while in the winter, artificial warming measures must be taken.
