Ebony cultivation methods and precautions

Ebony cultivation methods and precautions

1. Flowerpot selection

Try to choose a flowerpot that is two centimeters larger than the diameter of the ebony, so that it can provide sufficient space for the future growth of the ebony. In terms of the texture of the flower pot, you can choose a purple clay pot or a terracotta pot with good air permeability. This type of pot has strong air permeability and good water absorption, which is conducive to its growth.

2. Matrix Selection

Ebony is suitable for growing in soil with good air permeability and strong drainage. When preparing the soil, you can mix garden soil, rotten leaf soil and pebbles in a ratio of four to three to one and then plant it. If the soil is poor, you can add some organic fertilizer. If it is too poor, the plant may not grow well.

3. Water Management

When planting ebony, you must adhere to the principle of watering it after it is completely dry. Try to keep the soil in the pot dry. When the ebony is just transplanted into the new pot, you can water it thoroughly. After the roots grow, you need to control the water.

4. Lighting Management

It needs a lot of sunlight during its growth process. The ebony that has just been transplanted into a new pot cannot be exposed to direct sunlight. It can be exposed to some weaker light in the morning and evening. You can move the plant out after it has adapted to the pot, but keep it out of the sun in summer or when the temperature is too high.
