Cultivation methods and precautions of nine-headed grass

1. Soil

In fact, the soil requirements of Hyacinthus annuus are not high. Generally, loose and well-drained soil is sufficient. Sandy soil is most conducive to its growth.

2. Lighting

It grows best in environments with medium light conditions. Indoors, it can be placed not far from the balcony and grown in a place where the light is not too strong. It can be grown outdoors under the shade of a tree, but be sure not to expose it to direct sunlight, otherwise it will be detrimental to its growth.

3. Temperature

It likes a warm environment. It is best to control the temperature at 15-25℃ in summer, spring and autumn, and provide appropriate shade in summer. The temperature in winter should not be lower than 10℃, and it is best to grow it indoors so that it will grow better.

4. Watering

It likes a humid environment and only needs to be watered once every 3-4 days in spring and autumn. Be careful not to allow water to accumulate. In summer, you can water it every 2 days, preferably in the early morning or evening. In winter, you only need to water the plant once every 5-7 days, but don't water too much at one time to prevent root rot.

1. Watering in winter: Water once every 5-7 days. The amount of water should not be too much and water accumulation must not occur.

2. Root rot prevention and control: good drainage is required. It is recommended to use well-drained sandy soil when planting, and the soil can be disinfected with carbendazim before planting.
