The cultivation method of Artemisia scoparia

The cultivation method of Artemisia scoparia

1. Soil

Artemisia is not suitable for growing in poorly drained soil or soil that is too hard or too sticky. It is advisable to choose sandy soil that is fertile, deep and loose, which is conducive to the absorption of nutrients and can promote its later growth.

2. Temperature

17-20℃ is the most suitable temperature for its growth and the health of its stems and leaves. In winter, you should use thermal insulation plastic film or cultivate in a greenhouse for insulation. If the temperature is below 0 degrees Celsius for a long time, you will get frostbite or even die. When the temperature is above 25 degrees Celsius, ventilation should be increased.

3. Fertilization

During the growing period, you should choose fertilizers rich in potassium, sodium, calcium and other ions to supplement its nutrition according to the specific situation of the plant, and use urea solution once a month.

4. Watering

It is a moisture-loving plant, so it needs to be watered regularly to keep the surrounding soil moist, but water should not accumulate. The frequency of watering should be once every 4-5 days in summer and once every 7 days in winter. The soil should be loosened and drained in time during the rainy season.

5. Lighting

It prefers a warm, humid, sunny environment and can tolerate some shade. When cultivating it, it needs to be planted in a place where it can be exposed to sunlight, but avoid long-term exposure to the sun, and pay attention to shading during the summer period.

6. Notes

1. Pay attention to insect and disease prevention. The soil should be disinfected regularly. When there are more pests in spring, you can use pesticides such as cypermethrin for prevention and control. Be careful to spray the pesticides on the cabbage.

2. Weeding should be done regularly.
