Cultivation methods and precautions of Jinyumantang flower

The Chinese name of the flower "Fuguizi " is "Golden Pounds". In some places, it is also called "Wanliang of Gold". Both the leaves and the fruits can be viewed. It symbolizes peace, wealth, stability and good fortune. Many people have potted plants of it at home. Below I will introduce to you the cultivation methods and precautions of the golden jade flower.

1. Pot soil selection

The soil for potting Jin Yumantang should be sandy soil with good drainage, strong water retention and rich in organic matter. The seedlings can be transplanted into pots when they grow to 3 leaves. After potting, water it thoroughly and spray it with new lipid film in time to effectively improve the survival rate of the Jin Yumantang.

2. Growth environment

The golden jade flower likes a cool growing environment and is afraid of strong light. After buying it home, it is best to place it in an environment with a temperature between 5 and 15 degrees, and the maximum temperature should not exceed 20 degrees, otherwise the fruit may fall prematurely.

3. Adequate lighting

The Jin Yu Man Tang likes diffuse light very much and avoids direct sunlight. If it is grown indoors, it can be placed on a south-facing balcony or bay window with good lighting. This way it can receive sufficient diffuse light and can be ventilated frequently, which is conducive to the growth of the Jin Yu Man Tang flower.

4. Daily watering

When watering the chrysanthemum, do not wait until the soil in the pot is completely dry before watering it, otherwise the plant will lack water and cause leaves and fruits to fall off. Wait until the soil in the pot is not completely dry before watering, and keep the soil in the pot moist at all times. Growth is slow in winter, so reduce watering times.

5. Supplement nutrients

In addition to applying base fertilizers such as cake fertilizer when potting, Jin Yumantang should also be top-dressed regularly in daily life, generally with thin fertilizers, applied once every 14 days or so.

6. Reproduction method

Jin Yumantang is mainly propagated by cuttings. It can be carried out during the growing season. Breeders should select strong, full stems with short internodes as cuttings, 10-12 cm long. It can be dried for several days before planting and then planted in the sand bed. The planting soil should be slightly dry. It will take about 15-20 days for the plant to take root, which is more conducive to the survival of the Jin Yumantang flowers .

7. Notes

The Jin Yumantang should be avoided from strong sunlight as much as possible, and should be shaded in time and placed in a semi-shaded environment for growth and development. 20-32 degrees Celsius is most suitable for the growth of the golden jade flower. Frost damage is likely to occur when the temperature is below 5 degrees Celsius in winter. Pay attention to keeping warm in winter and shade in summer.
