Key points of high-yield soybean cultivation technology

Key points of high-yield soybean cultivation technology

With the rapid development of China's economy, the market demand for soybeans continues to grow. In order to meet this demand, increase soybean production and increase farmers' income, it is necessary to pay attention to and optimize soybean planting technology. By adopting advanced planting methods, the production efficiency of soybeans can be effectively improved and sustainable agricultural development can be achieved. Let’s learn the key points of high-yield soybean cultivation technology.

1. Planting site selection

Selecting the right soil is the first step to improving soybean quality and yield. Ideally, soybean planting sites should have good soil structure and drainage. Through scientific crop rotation, such as rotation with other crops such as wheat and corn, soil fertility can be maintained and pests and diseases can be controlled. The tillage depth should be controlled at about 20 cm, and combined with fertilization, mainly organic fertilizer and appropriate amount of chemical fertilizer should be used to avoid direct contact between chemical fertilizer and seeds to prevent seedling burn.

2. Soybean variety selection

It is crucial to select soybean varieties suitable for local climate and soil conditions. Varieties that can mature normally during the frost-free period should be selected to adapt to local production conditions.

3. Sowing time and method

Select seeds carefully, remove impurities and inferior seeds, ensure that the seeds are large and full, and add rhizobia when mixing the seeds to enhance nitrogen fixing ability. Pay attention to the prevention and control of underground pests, plant at a reasonable density, and adopt row sowing or three-ridge cultivation methods to ensure uniform sowing and consistent depth.

4. Late field management

After soybean sowing, deep tillage, timely thinning and top dressing are carried out to lay the foundation for high-quality and high-yield soybeans.

5. Pest and disease control

During the growth period, soybeans are susceptible to a variety of diseases and pests, such as root rot, gray spot, damping-off, root-knot nematode disease and bean moth, and effective prevention and control measures need to be taken:

Root rot: Improve soil conditions by rotating crops and increasing the use of organic fertilizers .

Gray spot: Choose disease-resistant varieties, add appropriate agents when mixing seeds, and spray carbendazim during the growing period.

Damping-off disease: Plant at reasonable density, drain water in time, and spray fosetyl-aluminum in the early stage of the disease.

Root-knot nematode disease: Remove diseased roots, use disinfected crops, and enhance the plant's disease resistance.

Bean moth: Use highly effective cypermethrin for control before the larvae reach the third instar, and pay attention to the time of application.

Improving soybean yield and quality requires comprehensive consideration of land conditions, planting environment and pest and disease control. In practice, we should continuously accumulate experience to promote the continuous progress of soybean planting technology and the continuous optimization of pest and disease control technology.
