Is the Green Treasure Tree easy to grow?

Is the Green Treasure Tree easy to grow?

1. Is it easy to raise?

The green treasure tree grows well in a warm and humid environment. Because it has high requirements for temperature and humidity, it is easier to grow in the coastal areas of the south. However, it also has strong drought resistance and can survive in the north as long as a suitable environment is provided.

2. How to maintain

1. Light: The green treasure tree has a high demand for light. Generally, it should be placed in a sunny place to receive sunlight throughout the day. But it is also relatively shade-tolerant and can grow in a semi-shady environment. However, long-term absence of light will cause its leaves to fall off, and strong light exposure will also be harmful to it. Therefore, a certain amount of scattered light is needed.

2. Soil: The green treasure tree needs to grow in loose and fertile soil. You can make potting soil by mixing peat soil, perlite and vermiculite, or use leaf mold and river sand as the substrate. If you want it to grow better, you can add some base fertilizer.

3. Watering: Green Treasure likes moisture but cannot tolerate waterlogging. Therefore, you must control the amount of water when watering, and generally wait until the soil surface is dry before watering. In addition, the air humidity should be higher. You can sprinkle water around or spray water on the leaves to increase humidity.

4. Fertilization: The growth of the green treasure tree cannot be separated from sufficient fertilizer. During its growth period, you should fertilize frequently. Choose a compound fertilizer with a relatively balanced content of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. You can also use thin fertilizer water for watering.
