How to cultivate Euphorbia pulex

How to cultivate Euphorbia pulex

1. Soil:

Euphorbia lactea has strong adaptability and can grow in most soils. It is best cultivated in fertile, loose, well-drained sandy or clay soils.

2. Fertilization:

After the seedlings of Euphorbia pulex are planted, diluted human manure should be applied once. When buds appear, they should be picked in time, and manure or cake fertilizer should be applied again to promote plant growth.

3. Watering:

Euphorbia lactea is drought-tolerant but not water-tolerant. Water it moderately to ensure that the soil in the pot is moist. Do not water it too much, otherwise water will accumulate and the roots will rot easily.

4. Temperature:

Euphorbia lactea is not resistant to high temperatures and severe cold. Too high temperatures will cause the plant to grow slowly, while too low temperatures will easily cause frostbite to the plant. During cultivation, the temperature should be controlled between 12-15℃.

5. Notes:

1. Diseases:

The main disease of Euphorbia pulex is rust, which will cause a large number of leaves to fall off and affect its growth. Spraying Bordeaux mixture carbendazim wettable powder or carbendazim wettable powder can effectively prevent and control rust.

2. Pests:

The main pests are the caterpillar moth, the spiny moth and the large bagworm moth, which feed on the leaves of the plants, absorb nutrients from the plants and affect their growth. You can use chemical agents such as dichlorvos solution, cypermethrin emulsion solution, etc. to spray for prevention and control.
