Characteristics of Carnation

1. Appearance characteristics

1. The carnation plant can grow to about 40~70cm, and the whole plant is hairless and looks pink-green. Its stem is clumped and grows upright, with sparse branches at the top.

2. Its leaves are about 4 to 14 cm long and are not very wide, only 2-4 mm. The leaves are linear-lanceolate in shape, gradually tapering to a point, with a very obvious midrib.

3. Its flowers are usually solitary, sometimes there are 2, sometimes there are 3. The flowers come in more than one color, such as white, pink, or purple.

2. Habits and Characteristics

1. It doesn’t really like sunlight and is a medium-day plant. However, it also needs to see sunlight during the maintenance period, as it cannot withstand strong sunlight. In addition, it also likes fertilizer very much and does not require too much water, as long as there is a certain degree of moisture in the soil.

2. It prefers a cool growing environment and is not particularly color-resistant. It can also tolerate cold very well, which means it can grow in a certain low temperature environment.
