How to prune the roots of lucky bamboo

How to prune the roots of lucky bamboo

1. Root pruning method

When growing lucky bamboo in water, sometimes its roots are too dense, or the roots become necrotic and rotten. At this time, you can take it out of the hydroponic container, first wash the roots with clean water, and then use sharp and clean scissors to trim all the rotten and necrotic roots, and make sure they are trimmed cleanly. In addition, the residues must be cleaned from the root system and then put back into the cultivation container for hydroponics.

2. Root necrosis pruning method

If there are many rotten and necrotic roots, after pruning, you can soak the hydroponic roots in an aqueous solution of auxin for a short time, and then hydroponic them again. This will help the growth of new roots.
