Strawberries bear fruit once a year. Naturally grown ones bear fruit from June to August, so they are mostly picked in summer. But if it is grown in a greenhouse, the fruits will be produced from January to March and can be picked in late winter or early spring.

2. Picking Method

1. Picking time: Picking time is generally from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. This period is relatively dry, which is conducive to the storage of strawberries. However, there is often dew in the early morning or at night, which can easily cause it to rot and make it difficult to preserve.

2. Picking process: Be gentle when picking, hold the strawberry while removing the leaves with your hands, and then cut it with scissors. If the leaves are healthy, you can cut them off with the leaves. If the leaves turn yellow, it is recommended to only cut the strawberries to prevent the yellow leaves from absorbing water and nutrients.

3. Storage method: After cutting the strawberries, they should be stored in a low temperature environment in time. High temperature will affect its taste. In addition, good ventilation is required to prevent the growth of bacteria, otherwise it will cause a lot of spoilage.
