1. Soil improvement and basal fertilizer application

The selected fields are prepared by removing weeds and debris, and dead leaves, 500 kg of cooked cow dung, 200 kg of cooked chicken dung, 30 kg of rapeseed cake powder and 100 kg of dead leaves are mixed into the soil. Next, divide the ridges into blocks of 2 meters wide and 8 meters long, and dig 20 centimeters wide and 20 centimeters deep horizontal and vertical drainage ditches between the ridges.

2. Scientific sowing method

From March to April, select thick and intact underground old stems as planting materials. From bottom to top, divide them into the first planting layer, active soil layer, second planting layer and covering layer for planting. The first and second planting layers are evenly inserted into the seed stems, and the covering layer can be made of film, grass branches or pine needles . The thickness of the first and second planting layers is 8 cm, plus the active soil layer, the total thickness is 25 cm. When sowing, keep the row spacing of seed stems at 10 cm and the plant spacing at 0.8 cm.

3. Fertilization and irrigation management

Apply fertilizer reasonably and spray formulated fertilizer once a month after planting; irrigate in time during the dry season and drain in time during the rainy season to avoid water accumulation in the fields. Remove weeds in the field promptly, carry out shallow tillage and loosen the soil in a timely manner, and spread an appropriate amount of decomposed organic fertilizer between the rows and plants.

The composition of the formula fertilizer includes: 50 parts of decomposed chicken manure, 20 parts of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer , 2 parts of chitosan, 10 parts of soybean cake powder, 3 parts of modified corn straw , 8 parts of brassinolide, and 800 parts of water. The preparation method is as follows: first, treat corn stalks with green Trichoderma and Aspergillus niger liquid in a ratio of 1:1, a solid-liquid ratio of 1:4, and a temperature of 25°C; add 4% yeast to soybean cake powder and ferment it at 35°C for 30 hours; then mix the modified corn stalks, fermented soybean cake powder, decomposed chicken manure, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer, chitosan, soybean cake powder, brassinolide and water evenly and spray them.

4. Harvest at the right time

In the third year after sowing, pick the young stems and leaves in batches from March to July; pick the underground young stems in batches from September to December.
