Rose soil recipe

Rose soil recipe

1. Soil Formula

You can buy special roses at a flower shop, or you can prepare them according to their growth habits. The main soil used is cultivated soil, which is the garden soil on the surface of daily fruit and vegetable planting. This kind of soil is rich in nutrients and can supplement the growth needs. In order to increase permeability and improve drainage and ventilation, you should add rice husk ash, wood ash, or coal briquette ash, which can also play the same role. After preparing these, the soil formula also requires organic fertilizer. You can use cow dung, sheep dung, etc., but it must be piled up and decomposed. Mix the cooked soil, rice husk ash, and organic fertilizer in a ratio of 2:1:1.

2. Other formulas

It is not very strict in this regard, so there is not only one formula. You can also mix 30% garden soil, 30% bamboo soil, 20% nutrient soil, 10% peat soil, and 10% sawdust to achieve good results. If you don't have so many materials on hand, you can also make it with garden soil, perlite, wood chips, and compost.

3. Notes

After the loam is prepared, it cannot be used directly. It needs to be disinfected and sterilized. It can be exposed to the sun for disinfection before use. The organic fertilizer added must be well decomposed and the concentration should not be too high.
