Green tea is divided into several types

1. Roasted green tea

This type of green tea is dried in a baking cage and is generally processed and refined, so that the tea produced is of higher quality but the aroma is not too strong. There are production areas all over the country. The color of the tea is very bright after brewing, and the taste is relatively mellow, with a sweet taste in the later stage.

2. Stir-fried green tea

It is fried by machine or hand, and because of some differences, it has different shapes and different qualities. The most common and famous one is Longjing, which is very delicately made, of excellent quality, emerald green in color, with a strong aroma, beautiful shape, and a sweet and lingering taste.

3. Sun-dried green tea

It is dried in the sun and is relatively natural. It is mainly distributed in Hunan and Hubei, with a small amount distributed in other places, such as Guangxi, Yunnan, Sichuan, Guizhou, etc. Among these varieties, the large-leaf variety belonging to Yunnan is the best.

4. Steamed Green Tea

This is made with steam, using the amount of steam to break up the fresh leaves. This kind of tea has a dark green color and an astringent smell. The main varieties include Enshi Gyokuro, Chinese Sencha, etc. The main producing areas are Hubei, Zhejiang, Fujian, Anhui and other provinces.
