Cherries grow on cherry trees, which are small deciduous trees that bloom around March in spring and the fruits mature around May or June. It can grow very tall, up to about 8 meters. The leaves of the cherry tree are ovate to ovate-elliptical, with a very sharp tip and a rounded base, and there are many serrations on the edges of the leaves.

When blooming, the flowers are white, the cherries are nearly spherical, not very large, with a diameter of 1-1.5 cm, and the fruits are red.

Cherry is distributed over a wide area and its origin is in tropical America. At present, it is planted in most parts of my country, such as Shandong, Jiangsu, Henan, Shaanxi, Zhejiang, Anhui and Sichuan. In addition, it is also cultivated in many foreign regions, such as Canada, Australia, the United States, and Europe.

3. Growth Environment

It is more suitable for growing in a sunny and warm environment, and people usually plant it on the sunny side of a hillside. It is very afraid of being blown directly by the wind, but the air should be circulated appropriately.
