How to maintain Orange Monroe

Orange Monroe is actually the preferred variety of what we call Monroe after it reaches its peak state. Orange Monroe belongs to the genus Echeveria of the Crassulaceae family and is a perennial succulent herb.

It is a hybrid of Snow Lotus and Corolla, so it also inherits the advantages of Snow Lotus, which is plump, round and white. So how can we maintain Orange Monroe in normal times to make it fat?

① Flower soil

When growing Orange Monroe, you must carefully select the soil, which has certain requirements for the soil quality. The flower soil used must have strong air permeability and good drainage capacity, because the plant is very afraid of waterlogging .

② Watering

When replenishing water for it, it is usually enough not to water it unless it is dry. If you want to water it, you should water it thoroughly .

Do not water too much in summer or winter, and do not allow excess water to accumulate in the soil. Especially in winter, it is OK for the soil to be slightly dry.

③Light

Orange Monroe likes a growing environment with plenty of sunshine , and the location where it is maintained must have good light so that it can grow well. In spring, autumn and winter, the plant can be given full-day light.

④ Temperature

During the maintenance period, the highest temperature should not be higher than 35℃ . When it is higher than this temperature, it should be cooled down as soon as possible.

In winter, the temperature should be adjusted to about 5℃, and the lowest temperature should not be lower than 5℃ , otherwise the orange dream dew will be easily frostbitten. And it is best not to keep it outdoors in winter, put it indoors , but it should be exposed to the sun more often.

Precautions for the maintenance of succulent orange Monroe

If the maintenance environment is very stuffy and the ventilation is not very good, many small insects will appear, which will harm the growth of the plants.

For example, red spiders, scale insects, and whiteflies. Generally, if the number is small, you can remove them manually, but if the number is large, you need to use pesticides to kill them .

①Prevent pests and diseases

When maintaining the plants, try to keep the breeding environment well ventilated and not too hot. If the climate is too humid, it will attract pests and diseases. In addition, the soil must be disinfected before use.

②Soil preparation method

Many flower lovers at home will prepare their own soil. In fact, the method of preparing soil is also very simple. You only need to mix granular soil and coal slag . For granular soil, perlite, medical stone or vermiculite can usually be used.
