Huang Xueguang's breeding methods and precautions

Huang Xueguang's breeding methods and precautions

1. Potting soil

During the breeding period, you need to choose soil suitable for its growth. The cultivation soil must contain certain nutrients and have good drainage to avoid root rot due to stagnant water. You can use leaf mold or peat soil and add some coarse sand to it. It should be disinfected before use to prevent insect eggs and pathogens from invading the plants.

2. Sunlight

It prefers a warmer growing environment. The sunlight in spring, autumn and winter is very mild, so it can be kept in the sun all day. It cannot be placed in a dark place, as this will not only affect its growth but also make it prone to not blooming. The hot summer sun is strong, so appropriate shading measures should be taken.

3. Fertilization

Huang Xueguan does not have very high requirements for nutrients. Usually, it is sufficient to apply fertilizer 3-4 times a year, mainly during the growing seasons in spring and autumn. Its growth will slow down in summer and winter, so you can temporarily stop fertilizing. Also, the concentration of fertilizer should not be too high. Light fertilizer is best for its growth.

IV. Precautions

The plant has low water requirements and is very drought-tolerant, so don't water it too frequently. During the peak growing season, you can water more often, as long as there is no water accumulation each time.
