When visiting the flower market before the New Year, don’t buy these 3 kinds of “flowers”, or you will end up making yourself upset when you bring them home!

When visiting the flower market before the New Year, don’t buy these 3 kinds of “flowers”, or you will end up making yourself upset when you bring them home!

Don't buy pots with too wet soil.

The seller may say that this happened because the flowers had just been watered. Don't believe their nonsense. If the flower has just been watered, and you go somewhere else and the soil is still moist when you come back, it is not recommended to buy the flower. This phenomenon is that the soil may have hardened, causing water to be unable to penetrate into the soil and loosen up the roots of the plants.

In this case, the plant bought by a novice will definitely die. Experienced friends will have to change the pot after buying it home. It is really troublesome to encounter such a situation. You bought a pot of flowers happily, but found out that you were cheated. Don't suffer this loss during the New Year!

Don't buy those with bright colors

As the year draws to a close, flower sellers must know that everyone wants to buy some brightly colored plants home. The red flowers paired with lush green leaves look really beautiful when placed in the home. However, when choosing, you must open your eyes wide and carefully distinguish whether the surface of the plant has a healthy luster.

In order to make the plants look fresh and shiny, some unscrupulous sellers will spray some chemical gloss agents on the surface. They will do anything to make the plants look better. If you take this kind of plant home, there is basically no chance of it surviving. If it dies in the end, we may still think that it is because we are not capable enough to take care of it!

Don't buy if the soil is too hard

When buying flowers, press the soil with your fingers. If the soil is hard and the entire soil is stuck together, it means that the soil has hardened. When the soil hardens, you need to change the pot when you get home. If you don’t do it properly, you may damage the roots. Therefore, if you really like it, ask the florist to change the soil for you, and change it in front of you.

Prevent sellers from cutting corners on the soil! Having said all this, I just hope that everyone can be more careful when buying flowers, and not be deceived by the sellers, otherwise they will cause trouble for themselves when they bring them home!
