Do Gardenias hibernate in winter?

1. Will it go dormant?

Generally speaking, gardenias will hibernate in winter. During their dormancy, they will temporarily stop growing and will drop leaves. Around April in spring, the temperature begins to gradually rise and the plants will slowly resume their growth. In order to extend the viewing time, some flower lovers will artificially break the growth cycle of the plant, that is, not allowing it to hibernate in winter, which will result in fewer flowers.

2. Winter maintenance
