Potted cultivation method of ping pong chrysanthemum

Potted cultivation method of ping pong chrysanthemum

1. Soil

For potted cultivation, you need to choose soil that is suitable for the living habits of chrysanthemums. Generally, loose and breathable soil is used, and it also needs to have good drainage. Never choose soil that is too sticky.

2. Lighting

It prefers sunlight, so you can let it receive appropriate light every day. It is best to turn the flowerpot from time to time so that every part of the plant can be exposed to sunlight. However, the time exposed to sunlight should not be too long, about five hours a day is enough.

3. Temperature

Ping pong chrysanthemum is relatively cold-resistant. Temperature is a very important condition for whether it can be cultivated well. The suitable temperature for its growth is between 18~21℃. If the temperature is too high in summer, it is necessary to shade and cool down the plant to avoid affecting its growth, so the temperature must be controlled reasonably.

4. Fertilization

It likes fertilizer very much, and fertilizer is also essential in its growth process. You can give it enough base fertilizer during the early planting period. In the later period, nitrogen fertilizer is mainly used. Special attention should be paid during the flowering period, and phosphorus and potassium fertilizers need to be supplemented during the flowering period, because the number of flowers and the brightness of the colors are greatly related to the content of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers.
