When does the lotus flower bloom?

When does the lotus flower bloom?

1. Flowering period

The flowering period of bowl lotus is from June to September. It has a large number of petals, with a few having more than 20 and some having more than 100. It usually grows in the receptacle hole and has a variety of colors, including red, white, purple, yellow, pink, green and so on.

2. Flowering requirements

1. Light: If you want the water lily to bloom, you must provide it with a suitable environment. It likes light very much and needs at least 5 hours of sunlight a day. If it is kept in a dark environment for a long time, it will never bloom.

2. Temperature: Bowl lotus is particularly afraid of cold. If the temperature is below 15 degrees, it will be difficult to bloom. An environment above 20 degrees must be provided.

3. Soil: When planting, you can mix garden soil with leaf mold. The soil cannot contain a lot of sand, otherwise the plant will not bloom due to insufficient nutrients. In addition, do not put too much fertilizer, otherwise it will only grow leaves but not flowers.
