Planting mulberry trees

Sowing time

The best time to sow mulberry trees is generally in summer and autumn every year, because the air humidity and temperature at this time are very beneficial to the growth and development of plants. If you don’t know, you can put the ripe mulberries in water, rub them, take out the seeds, dry them, process them, and then you can sow them.

Processing seeds

In order to increase the germination rate of seeds, when planting mulberry trees, we must choose seeds of uniform size, full grains, and no surface damage. Then soak these seeds in 50°C warm water for about half a day, take out the seeds and wipe them dry, then store the seeds under suitable temperature conditions, and spray a certain amount of water every day. After the seeds turn white, they can be sown.

Planting method

Before planting, you should choose soil with good drainage and ventilation, and add an appropriate amount of organic fertilizer or chemical fertilizer as base fertilizer. After that, the soil should be plowed and the gravel in the soil should be removed. Then you can sow the seeds. Sow the seeds on the surface of the soil and cover it with a layer of about 3 cm of soil. After covering the soil, be sure to water the soil thoroughly so that the mulberry tree can germinate as soon as possible.
