The difference between Kudingcha and Dandelion

The difference between Kudingcha and Dandelion

1. Leaf Difference

The leaves of Kudingcha are thick leathery, spirally alternate, 8 to 25 cm long, 4.5 to 8.5 cm wide, with sparsely sharp teeth on the edges and no pubescence on both sides. The leaves are ovate-oblong, not wrinkled, some are slightly curled longitudinally, shiny yellow-green or gray-green above, and yellow-green underneath.

The leaves of dandelion are obovate-lanceolate or linear-lanceolate, about 15 cm long and 5 cm wide, with large pinnate or pinnate fissures, the lobes are triangular, entire or finely toothed, the apex of the leaf is slightly obtuse or slightly pointed, and the base gradually narrows to form a petiole.

2. Flower Differences

The flowers of Kudingcha are dioecious, or unisexual and bisexual flowers coexist, and the flowers are white or yellow.

The dandelion inflorescence is about 3.5 cm in diameter, with bright yellow ligulate flowers and thin red stripes at the top.
