Cultivation methods and precautions of Bingmei

Ice plum is a relatively difficult plant to grow. It is very sensitive to light conditions and humidity. If it lacks sunlight or is watered too frequently, it will easily fade and grow too tall, and the leaf disk may even spread out completely.

How to cultivate ice plum

1. Pot soil

First, you need to pick off the leaves that are not growing well, trim the roots that are not growing well, and apply a solution of carbendazim to help the wound recover and the plant will grow more vigorously.

2. Lighting

Iceberry has a high demand for light and needs more sunlight. It will also be more disease-resistant and less susceptible to diseases and pests. If iceberry grows too tall, the main reason is insufficient light.

3. Moisture

When watering the ice berry, you should follow the principle of watering when the soil is dry and watering when the soil is wet. As long as there is no water accumulation, it is fine and is beneficial to the growth of the ice berry. However, when the temperature is lower in winter, you need to reduce the number of watering times.

Precautions for the maintenance of ice plum

When caring for ice plum, you should pay attention that ice plum is not very cold-resistant. In winter, it is best to keep it in an environment above 5 degrees. If the temperature is below 5 degrees, water should be cut off for maintenance. When the temperature is below 0 degrees, ice plum will be frozen to death.
