The flower-crazy husband turned his home into a mountain of flowers and fruits in 6 years and spends 5,000 yuan every month on growing flowers!

In addition to supporting his family, Old Wu spent all of his remaining salary on "Huaguoshan". Even if his wife gave him a "hard time", he would still continue to support her!

Although the terrace is the only place where flowers can be grown, for Old Wu, having this space is enough. As soon as the house was built in 2013, he had an idea in mind: not only should there be flowers, but also fruits, a garden that the whole family can enjoy~

The burden of supporting his family made him unable to waste even a penny. Every brick and stone in the garden was picked up by Old Wu. Even the stones below were brought back by Old Wu after he ran more than ten kilometers to the river beach in the mountains.

Old Wu also carried the mud for the terrace one bucket at a time. He was anxious to grow flowers as soon as possible, and his shoulders were covered with blisters after carrying mud for several days.

There were also bamboo chairs that he picked up from the deep mountains of Guizhou. Since they could not be transported by air, he could only take the train home. After dozens of hours of bumpy train ride... After putting them in the garden, the whole family enjoyed the flowers and fruits. Old Wu felt that it was all worth it.

There are several children in the family, so Old Wu specially planted fruit trees. The soil he dug from the fields was mixed with some "farm organic fertilizer" to grow grapes that cover the sky and are a great way to keep cool in the summer!

Even without spraying pesticides, the grapes grown are still abundant. The children keep an eye on them every day, fearing that they will be pecked first by greedy birds.

In addition to grapes, the orange trees planted by Old Wu are also a must-see. Each orange tree is bigger than a fist and is enough to feed the children for a whole winter.

In addition to fruit trees, Old Wu's family also has a lot of flowers, but he is a "pragmatic" person and does not seek any rare varieties. He believes that the flowers he grows must not only look good, but also be cheap and durable.

The pennywort that loves to bloom out of the pot was transplanted from a friend a few years ago. Now it is everywhere, and both large and small pots are full. Lao Wu drilled a few stone pots to plant it, which gives it a different feeling~

Old Wu doesn’t grow any expensive succulents. The Dieffenbachia that cost a few dollars five years ago has now grown into a field.

You can also grow catnip and sunflowers in a colorful way~

Old Wu not only buys flowers by picking up bargains, but also picks up most of the flower pots. He also picks up broken jars, broken bowls, and everything else in the village.

He used an old stone mortar that had been discarded by other people long ago to grow flowers, which was full of nostalgia!

In order to save money and learn DIY, Old Wu tied several stones of different lengths together to make a hanging pot!

Growing flowers is not only expensive, but also energy-intensive. With more flowers in the garden, it becomes more troublesome to take care of them. Old Wu gets up at 4 or 5 o'clock every day to "inspect" and he won't feel at ease until he checks every corner of the garden.

With flowers blooming in spring and fruits fragrant in autumn, Mr. Wu's hard work has not only been recognized by his whole family, but also by the village and town, winning him the medal of "Most Beautiful Courtyard".

Now Old Wu,

With the company of my family, I continue on the road of flower growing.

"I can spend my free time tending to flowers and plants, enjoying the flowers and picking fruits with my family, and even weeding together is fun..." - Wu Yuangen
