The difference between Guanyin Lotus and Red Edge Lotus Palm

The Avalokitesvara yin lotus is also called the immortal grass and the Avalokitesvara lotus. The plants are arranged from the bottom like a lotus pedestal, growing in a circle, dignified and elegant, like a blooming lotus.

Red-margined lotus palm is a perennial succulent herb with many branches. It is about 25 to 50 cm in height, and the branches on the top are arranged in a rosette shape.

2. The difference of leaves

The leaves of the Alocasia odora are flat, thin and long, gradually becoming pointed from the bottom to the tip, with small hairs on the edges. When exposed to sufficient sunlight, they will turn into purple or darker brown.

The leaves of the red-margined lotus palm are obovate in shape, 2.5 to 5 cm long, thicker than the previous one, blue-green or gray-green in color, with red or dark reddish brown edges and small fine teeth on the edges.

3. The difference of flowers

The small flowers of the Alocasia odora are pink and star-shaped.

The flowers of the red-edged lotus are light yellow, sometimes with a red blush.
