How to grow Jacaranda in spring

How to grow Jacaranda in spring

1. Increase watering

Jacaranda is suitable for growing in slightly moist soil. If the soil is too dry, it will affect the growth of the plant. The temperature in early spring is relatively low and water evaporates slowly, so watering once or twice a week is sufficient. As summer approaches, the temperature will rise and you can water the plants every two days. If the climate is too dry, you can spray water around to increase the humidity.

2. Control the temperature

It is a relatively delicate plant, and its growth will be affected by unsuitable temperatures. The temperature range is between ten and thirty degrees. For spring maintenance, just control the time within this temperature range. There is more cold weather in early spring, which will directly affect the growth of the plants. Therefore, outdoor maintenance should be avoided as much as possible during early spring, and open-field maintenance should be carried out after the climate stabilizes.

3. Increase nutrients

The nutrients in the soil are limited, so appropriate topdressing is needed. The plants are relatively resistant to barrenness, so when choosing fertilizers, you should choose fertilizers with mild effects. If the fertilizer effect is too strong, fertilizer damage is likely to occur. For example, you can choose farmyard manure, fermented manure, animal manure, etc., and chemical fertilizers can use compound fertilizers.

4. Increase Lighting

Spring is the growing season for most plants. As long as there are green leaves, they need more sunlight. Jacaranda is no exception. It needs at least five hours of light a day to meet the plant's growth needs.
