Sowing temperature of radish

The optimum sowing temperature for radish is 20-25 degrees.

Treatment of radish seeds

The seed shell of the Chinese cabbage is relatively thick and hard, so it is best to soak the seeds before sowing. Pour 45-50 degree warm water into a clean basin, pour the seeds in and soak them for 1-2 days, then pick up the seeds and place them in a constant temperature of about 30 degrees for germination. When the seeds turn white, they can be sown.

Fill the pot with culture soil, water it thoroughly with clean water, and evenly spread the treated seeds on the potting soil. After sowing, cover the seeds with shallow soil and spray a small amount of water. After sowing, it is best to grow in an environment of about 30 degrees, and seedlings will usually emerge in about seven days.

Management of radish after sowing

When the seedlings grow one or two true leaves, they can be thinned out, removing weak seedlings and retaining strong seedlings.

When the seedlings have three to four true leaves, you can apply a small amount of nitrogen fertilizer.

When the seedlings grow four to five true leaves, they can be transplanted. The principle is to remove the small ones and keep the large ones.

When the seedlings have five to six true leaves, they are ready to harvest.
