The difference between cat's eye arrowroot and peacock arrowroot

1. Difference in appearance

Cat's eye arrowroot is a perennial herb with rhizomes. The stems are generally unbranched and the plant height is about 60-100 cm. The peacock arrowroot grows more densely and its height is much lower than that of the cat's eye arrowroot, about 20-60 cm.

2. Difference of blades

The leaves of cat's eye arrowroot are oblong and slender, with black spots on the leaf surface. They are round and look like a panda's eyes. On both sides of the main veins, there are white and dark green bands arranged in feather-like patterns, with bright colors.

The leaves of the peacock plant are ovate-oval in shape, beige-green in color, and arranged alternately on both sides of the main veins. There are dark green feather-like oblong markings on the leaf surface, which look like the pattern on a peacock's tail. The leaves have sleep movements, folding up at night and stretching out after being exposed to sunlight during the day.
