How to breed money string

1. Soil

When choosing soil, coarse sand mixed with peat soil is best, and the soil should be slightly acidic. Then when the rainy season comes, always check whether there is water accumulation in the pot. If so, replace the soil in time.

2. Fertilization

During its growing season, you can apply a little compound fertilizer, and it is best to apply it once a month. If you have wood ash at home, you can also apply it to the pot to help it grow; then in autumn, you need to add some liquid phosphorus and potassium fertilizers, and stop fertilizing in winter.

3. Watering

It is very drought tolerant and usually only needs to be watered once every 8 days. If it is summer and the weather is hot and humid, you can increase the frequency of watering and spray water on the leaves to keep the soil slightly dry. In autumn, you can water less frequently and wait until the soil in the pot is dry before watering again; in winter, water once every 18 days.

4. Light and temperature

It is very shade-tolerant and cannot be placed in the sun for a long time. At the same time, in winter, the light cannot be too weak, so you can give it appropriate supplementary light.

In addition, the temperature must be suitable. The most suitable temperature for its growth is between 20 and 32 degrees. If the temperature is higher than 35 degrees, you need to spray water on its leaves in time to help it cool down. In winter, when the temperature is around 10 degrees, it can grow normally, but if it is lower than 5 degrees, it will be frozen, so it is best to control the temperature above 5 degrees.
