How to grow dragon and phoenix wood

How to grow dragon and phoenix wood

1. Soil

It is best to use loose and well-drained soil when growing the Dragon Phoenix Tree. Try not to choose heavy clay soil, which will affect its normal growth.

2. Watering

It is drought tolerant and only requires the soil to be kept moist to a slightly dry state. Reduce watering in winter. Excessive or uneven watering will cause rot. When watering, try to water thoroughly. In summer, you can spray water around the plant to increase the humidity of the air.

3. Lighting

The dragon and phoenix tree is suitable for growing in a semi-shaded or diffused light environment, and should be avoided from direct sunlight in summer. However, it cannot grow in a dark environment for a long time. You can place it on the indoor windowsill for maintenance. If you maintain it outdoors, provide adequate shade and avoid rain.

4. Fertilization

During its vigorous growth period, fertilizer can be applied once a month, and phosphorus and potassium fertilizers can be added appropriately during the flowering period. Do not fertilize too frequently and do not apply fertilizer at too high a concentration, as this may easily burn the roots.
