How to cultivate five-color Su

How to cultivate five-color Su

1. Soil

To grow five-colored osmanthus, you need loose, well-drained soil that is rich in humus.

2. Watering

The five-colored osmanthus must be guaranteed sufficient water during its growth period, but water cannot accumulate in the potting soil. If the amount of water is too large, the leaves will fade in color and the roots will easily rot.

3. Lighting

If there is sufficient light, its leaf color will be very bright. If it is kept in a dark environment with insufficient light for a long time, the leaf color will lose its luster. However, it cannot be exposed to strong light. If the light is too strong, the leaves may be burned.

4. Temperature

Five-colored Su is suitable for growing in a warm and humid environment. The minimum temperature should not be lower than 10℃. If the temperature is too low, the leaves will fall off. If it is lower than 5℃, it may cause death. It is best to control the temperature at 20-25℃ in winter, and try to ensure that the temperature difference is not too large in spring, summer and autumn.
