Arabian Veronica cultivation methods and precautions

Arabian Veronica cultivation methods and precautions

1. Soil

To grow Arabian Veronica, you need to use fertile, well-drained sandy soil, preferably mixed soil. You can apply some fertilizer as base fertilizer when planting.

2. Watering

During its peak growth and flowering periods, the soil must be kept moist. If the weather is relatively dry, water it in time. The temperature is generally lower in winter, so the amount of watering must be controlled at this time, as it is more afraid of waterlogging in winter.

3. Lighting

It likes to grow in sunny places and needs sufficient light during its growth period to facilitate better flowering. It can also tolerate partial shade, but when the light time is short, it will cause the plant to grow too tall. If the sunlight is weak in winter, artificial light can be used to supplement the light.

4. Fertilization

Fertilization should be done in moderation, and appropriate topdressing should be applied during the peak growth period to ensure the balance of growth elements. Generally, the amount of fertilizer should be controlled after September. In addition, some phosphorus fertilizer or potassium fertilizer can be applied appropriately during its flowering period.

5. Notes

Common diseases and pests: There are generally few diseases and pests in the cultivation of Arabian Veronica, but powdery mildew may appear in the autumn. If discovered, timely prevention and control measures must be taken.
