How to fertilize wood fragrance flowers

Fertilization method of wood fragrance flower:

In fact, osmanthus flowers like fertilizer, but the fertilization methods for potted plants and garden plants are different, so when it comes to fertilization methods, there are two aspects.

1. Fertilization method for potted plants

base fertilizer:

Before planting, apply some slow-release organic fertilizer in the flowerpot, which will be beneficial to the later growth of the plant.

Before germination:

Generally, after planting, they will sprout in early spring, but fertilization should be carried out before they sprout, and the concentration of flower fertilizer can be slightly higher.

Daily fertilization:

Fertilize once every 15 days or so to keep its leaves lush and plump and increase their glossiness.

winter:

Under normal circumstances, it will enter a dormant state in December every winter. It only needs to be fertilized once before dormancy, and then fertilized after the dormancy period. This is very beneficial for its wintering.

Flowering period:

Do not fertilize during flowering period. Wait until all the flowers have withered before resuming fertilization.

2. Fertilization method for garden planting:

base fertilizer:

Apply some well-rotted organic fertilizer before planting.

Growth period:

The growing period should be more frequent than usual, which is conducive to its growth.

The application of fertilizer at other times is the same as that for potted plants, but the weeds must be cleaned up before applying fertilizer.

Note:

When applying fertilizer, be sure to keep it clean to avoid fertilizer burning the roots and leaves of the plant.
