Cultivation methods and precautions of August laurel

Cultivation methods and precautions of August laurel

1. Soil

It is best to choose fertile, well-drained soil so that it can grow more stably in the later stage.

2. Watering

Water it in time after planting and make sure it is watered thoroughly. There is a period after planting when watering is needed. It is not tolerant to waterlogging, so water it less often and do not water it too much. Do not let water accumulate in the potting soil. Take drainage measures to avoid diseases.

3. Fertilization

If you want it to grow better, apply nitrogen fertilizer appropriately. If it is mature, apply 3-4 times a year. Fertilize reasonably and apply thin fertilizers. You can apply organic fertilizer in spring and inorganic fertilizer in winter. You can increase the fertilizer appropriately during the growth period.

4. Lighting

August laurel likes sunlight, so it is best to place it on a balcony in a ventilated place where it can receive sunlight. When the light is strong in summer, it can be properly shaded to avoid sunburn.

5. Notes

1. After being rained on, drainage measures should be taken to avoid water accumulation. In order to prevent the soil from becoming compacted, the soil can be loosened appropriately.

2. Prune the branches in time. It is best to cut off the useless buds during the germination period. The overgrown branches should be shortened appropriately. There should be a certain distance between the branches, and useless branches should be cut off.
