The money tree belongs to the genus Castanea of the family Bombaxceae, subclass Protistomales, class Dicotyledons, and is a perennial green small tree species.

2. Peace Tree

Although the peace lily also belongs to the dicotyledonous plant class, it is more specifically classified as the Cinnamomum genus of the Lauraceae family, Ranunculales order, which is different from the former. But it is also a small tree that is green all year round.

2. The tree shapes of the two are different

1. Fortune Tree

The money tree is about 5 meters tall. Its crown is not compact but appears extremely loose. The twigs tend to be chestnut brown. Its leaves have no petioles or are relatively short, and are approximately oblong in shape. In addition, the flowers located on the branches are solitary in the leaf axils. The pedicels are extremely thick, the flowers are a bit light yellow, and their shape is lanceolate. After the flowers fade, capsules will grow, which are a bit pear-shaped, and the seeds inside are irregular trapezoids. Its normal flowering period is 4 months, specifically from May to November, after which the fruits will ripen one after another and the seeds will slowly scatter on the ground and grow naturally.

2. Peace Tree

The peace lily is up to 15 meters tall and appears unusually tall and straight. Its leaves, branches and bark have no fragrance. The branches are brown, the leaves are fat and large, very green with a metallic luster, and three veins grow in sequence at the base of the leaves in a net-like pattern that is extremely obvious. It blooms from June to July, and after the flowers fade, it enters August to September, which is its fruiting period.
