1. Seedbed selection

Choose a location with higher terrain and a plot for raising seedlings that has not been planted with Solanaceae crops within 2 years, and set the width of the seedbed to 1.2m. The bed soil needs to be the cultivated soil commonly used for farming, and it should be relatively fertile. When tilling the soil, use 2-3 parts of farmyard manure and mix them evenly. Add 50% of carbendazim wettable powder, stir evenly, and then spread evenly on the bed.

2. Seed treatment

Before sowing, soak the dry seeds in 55℃ hot water for 10 minutes, then soak them in 1000 times potassium permanganate solution for 15-20 minutes. Rinse them repeatedly with clean water and then germinate and sow or dry them and sow.

3. Sowing and seedling raising

Use the broadcasting method. After sowing, cover with a thin layer of soil with a thickness of about 4-5 cm, and then cover with a film. The seed dosage is approximately between 0.0025-0.003kg/ m2 .

4. Planting at the right time

The plant height is about 10-15cm, and each plant can be transplanted when it has grown about 5-10 strong, stretched, healthy and shiny leaves. When transplanting, keep the row spacing at about 60-70cm and the plant spacing at 40-50cm. Plant two rows per bed in a T-shape, with 2200-2500 plants planted per 667m2 .

5. Field management

After planting, keep the soil moist and apply fertilizer appropriately. You can choose compound fertilizer or organic fertilizer . At the same time, pay attention to regular pruning and leaf removal, which will help control the growth of the plant, promote the growth of side branches and fruit setting. Of course, pest and disease prevention is also a very important part of the management process.

In general, the cultivation techniques of beauty peppers are not difficult and are basically the same as other pepper varieties. However, when planting, it is necessary to combine the local planting environment and conditions and carry out scientific field management, so as to achieve the goal of high quality and high yield.
