How to grow Jade Plant

How to grow Jade Plant

1. Breeding methods

1. Flower soil: Jade plant prefers soil with relatively high nutrient content because it needs more nutrients to grow. It prefers soil with good air permeability because it makes it easier for its roots to breathe. Specifically, you can mix leaf mold, perlite and garden soil to use as flower soil.

2. Watering: It is afraid of waterlogging, so do not water it too much. It is best to keep the soil slightly moist but without water accumulation.

3. Temperature: It is best to keep it between 15-30℃. Do not let the temperature drop below 5℃, otherwise the plants will be significantly frozen.

4. Fertilization: During the growing season, apply a thin layer of fertilizer every 15-20 days. In summer, reduce fertilization. In winter, you can stop fertilizing.

2. Change the pot every year

Because it grows very fast, it will fill the entire pot every two years, so it is necessary to replace the pot and soil in time. This will not only provide it with a larger growth space, allowing it to grow better, but also increase the fertility of the flower soil and provide it with more nutrients.

3. Breeding Methods

There are many ways to propagate it, such as division, layering, etc., but it is recommended to use sowing or cuttings at home. Because the operation is relatively simple, you only need to plant the seeds into the flower soil, or insert the branches with better growth into the flower soil, carefully maintain it, and wait for it to grow.
